As a leading national developer, owner and manager of affordable housing, Dominium provides affordable homes to families and seniors across the country. We know that a home is much more than four walls and a roof. Home is dignity. And at Dominium, we believe everyone deserves the dignity of home.
Dominium Builds
Dominium Builds, part of our Dominium Gives philanthropic program, offers pro-bono development services to nonprofit organizations addressing critical housing challenges. We use our 50-plus years of development experience to help communities across the U.S. add permanent supportive housing to those who need it most.
We have closed on more than 500 units representing $200 million in development costs, with $300 million more in the pipeline. We’re proud of that the program has grown to the point where it now represents 10 percent of our total development activity.

Senior Managing Partner Paul Sween’s vision to create affordable housing that fosters pride has guided Dominium for nearly four decades. “When the children who are our residents get off the bus, we want others to say, ‘I wish I lived there.’” This dedication earned him a place in Affordable Housing Finance’s 2024 Hall of Fame, recognized in the Leader Developer category for his innovative leadership and industry impact.
Paul was also honored with the Industry Leader Award at the 2024 NHP Foundation Symposium, which highlighted efforts to address evolving housing challenges. These accolades reflect Paul’s transformative vision and enduring contributions to affordable housing.
