New complex to replace housing destroyed in Joplin tornado: Joplin Globe
October 25, 2011 - Dominium and US Bank Corp. along with the State of Missouri and city of Joplin will hold a ground breaking ceremony for the impeding renovations to take place at the former Oak Meadows apartment complex, which will now be known as 1502 Michigan Place.
Residents of Oak Meadows were forced to vacate their Oak Meadows Apartment homes earlier this year as it was declared uninhabitable after the tornado in May caused damage to its roof and windows.
