Dominium to Break Ground on First New Construction Development in Arizona
The Minneapolis developer will host a groundbreaking for Solstice of Mesa on March 3
Dominium, a Minneapolis-based leading apartment owner, developer and manager announced today that it is expanding its portfolio in Arizona with the successful closing on Solstice of Mesa. The Mesa, Arizona property is Dominium’s first new construction in the state and will break ground on March 5.
Solstice of Mesa is set to be completed in the spring of 2021 and will provide 237 units of senior affordable housing. The apartment homes and common areas are designed with seniors in mind, featuring amenities that are specifically tailored for this demographic. Solstice of Mesa is also an environmentally friendly community, the building is outfitted with solar panels to optimize energy performance.
“Creating affordable housing that allows seniors to stay in their communities is our goal with Solstice of Mesa,” said Russ Condas, Developer for Dominium. “Our new construction developments are important because they create new affordable housing that didn’t previously exist in the community. We are thrilled to be expanding our presence in Arizona with this new property.”
This development would not have been possible without the support of the City of Mesa, KeyBank, Alliant Capital, Arizona Department of Housing and Arizona Industrial Development Authority.
