Dominium Acquires Mill Creek Place Apartments in Douglasville

Minneapolis developer adds 128-unit affordable housing development to its Georgia portfolio

Dominium announced today that it has acquired Mill Creek Place Apartments, a 128-unit affordable housing development in Douglasville, Ga.

Dominium is planning a renovation of the property which is beginning later this year. Individual unit improvements include replacing kitchen cabinet fronts and drawers, new granite countertops, new appliances, new flooring, lighting, efficient plumbing fixtures and window blinds.

The common area renovations include a new clubhouse, new pavilion with outdoor seating and grilling stations, new playground equipment, new fitness equipment and pool furniture, upgraded leasing space, upgraded computer center, new entry doors and LED lighting fixtures. The exterior will receive a variety of functional and aesthetic upgrades and replacements, and all buildings will receive new roofs and paint.

Mill Creek Place Apartments was built in 2000. Dominium acquired the property on July 31 of this year.
