Dominium Says Goodbye to Bloomington Apartment Complex After 30 Years of Ownership
Bristol Village Apartments was one of the original properties developed by Dominium’s founders
Dominium, a Minneapolis-based leading apartment development and management company, announced today that after 30 years, it has sold Bristol Village Apartments in Bloomington, Minn. The 290-unit apartment and townhome complex was one of the original properties developed and built by Dominium’s founding partners David Brierton and Jack Safar.
The land where Bristol Village would eventually be constructed a year later, was acquired 30 years ago, in 1987. The property exemplifies the dedication to the communities the company serves and the vision David and Jack had for the company when it began nearly 45 years ago. It also reinforces Dominium’s well-established commitment to creating long-term value.
“Dominium is committed to creating long-term value for our partners, investors and our communities by engaging in the development of affordable housing with the goal of returns over the long-term,” said Paul Sween, managing partner at Dominium. “Reaching the milestone of owning and managing Bristol Village for 30 years exemplifies this commitment.”
Bristol Village Apartments, which overlooks Hyland Park in Bloomington, was sold by Dominium to a London-based investor last week. Dominium is not releasing the terms of sale.
